92We love puzzles and we love horror, so when we heard that Red Candle Games, Detention's developer, was dropping hints for a future game, we jumped on the occasion!
Detention is a 2D atmospheric horror side-scroller set in 1960s Taiwan under martial law and as far as we can see, Devotion still takes place in Taiwan and still relies on the same creepy art style, which is pretty and childish at the same time.
In this video, we are analyzing a few hints left by the dev on their Facebook page, it doesn't mean that we are right BUT we played Detention and asked our Taiwanese team members to help us understand what this game was about.
