Tripticon are Filip Mårdberg and Fredrik Gilenholt, progressive trance pioneers from Sweden, mostly known as Ticon. The 7th Portal was released by Tripticon back in 2000 on Tsunami Productions.
Although released only in 2000, The 7th Portal was written mostly during the mid-90`s, and it features Goa trance music accordingly, as that was the most common style of psytrance in those days. The duo rich Techno background took the music on the album into a darker region, creating a somewhat misty atmosphere in some tracks.
