Greta Lee is one of the busiest actors working in Hollywood, involved in the likes of Kathryn Bigelow's Oscar contender A House of Dynamite, alongside Willem Dafoe in Late Fame, and now in the upcoming long-awaited threequel Tron: Ares, all in the same year, as well as being involved in the production of the 2027 scheduled Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse.
In Ares, one of the biggest theatrical releases of 2025, Lee plays Eve Kim, alongside a terrific ensemble that includes the likes of Jared Leto as the titular Ares. In the movie, Ares, a super-intelligent program, sets out on a deadly mission, introducing the real world to their first AI beings. Ares also stars Evan Peters, Jodie Turner-Smith, Hasan Minhaj, Arturo Castro, and Gillian Anderson. Directed by Joachim Rønning, the film is finally hitting screens after almost 15 years of rumored development, following the 2010 release of Tron: Legacy.
Ahead of Tron: Ares' release, Collider's Steve Weintraub had the chance to chat with Lee about the upcoming action-packed, neon threequel. From the reason why everyone should see the movie in IMAX to Lee's start on a world-famous procedural, and also which actor she molded her running style in Tron: Ares.
