There's a new live streaming platform from the makers of #PokemonUNITE! Trovo Live is currently in Beta and what they're doing is really ground breaking stuff!
This new live streaming platform has completely gamified the process of live streaming video games! They actually gamified live streaming for the content creator as well as for the audience! You can get FREE currency called Mana just for watching streams and participating in Treasure Box giveaways, and you can also get paid currency called Elixir that operates similar to how Twitch's Bits operate. You buy them and give them to streamers to hype up the chat!
This is really fascinating since there's never been a live streaming company that actually owned a game before. This allows for a seamless experience for the audience as well as the content creator with gamified features all over the platform that are free to enjoy.
The closest thing is #NewWorld which is owned by Amazon who also owns Twitch; However, they acquired Twitch they didn't start Twitch so it's kind of interesting to see a brand new streaming platform being created from scratch by a gaming company.
So far I really like what I'm seeing! It's really fun to stream on here and the goals are very clear and easy to accomplish. They tell you what you need to do in order to get monitized and how far along on each individual task you are currently. It's nice to have a place where I can to to see what I need to do in order to grow on the platform and properly gauge how my streams are growing.
