A lot of people think bot lobbies got patched or nerfed in Fortnite — but they didn’t. In fact, Chapter 5 Season 3 still has the most effective bot farming system, and here’s why.
Fortnite uses skill-based matchmaking (SBMM) in public matches. It decides your lobby type based on:
Win rate
Kill/death ratio
Account level
Platform
But when you create a fresh account or party up with one, the game assumes you’re new. That triggers low-skill matchmaking, aka bot-filled lobbies.
This means:
You don’t need hacks
You don’t need a VPN
You just need one low-level account as party leader

✅ Ranked (early tiers)
✅ Any squad size

Dropped 29 kills
Gained 140,000 XP
Finished 5 weekly challenges and 4 milestones in ONE match
The real secret? Keeping your bot account inactive. Don’t let it win or level up. Just use it to host the party, then let your main do the heavy lifting.
As long as Fortnite relies on SBMM, bot lobbies will always exist. And now you know how to farm them — responsibly, effectively, and without getting banned.
