Try-Outs: Quake
Try-Outs S2 E31: Quake
It's an old-school shooter in a beloved series but does it hold up to modern scrutiny?
(Note: This video ended up being rendered in 60fps because the gameplay was much too smeary at 30fps. It didn't seem to have a negative effect on the video recorded in 30fps so hopefully, it all works out once uploaded.)
Try-Outs are first-impressions reviews usually based on the first hour or so of the game and judged on a pass/fail rating as to whether I want to play it more and whether I recommend the game to other people.
