Trying Indie Heroes Collection 1 (Part 4) [Evercade #67]

And we are now done with this collection - what a ride it was!
Quest Arrest is pretty cool so far! I like how we have the choices between 'good' and 'bad' - it's just a shame it currently isn't working on my VS. But ignoring that, I like how the game also doesn't take itself too seriously - that Pokemon-inspired 'battle' is too funny! xD
Uchusen is definitely my leas favorite on this collection. Maybe I'm just not understnding it, but it's just...boring. There are tons of other, better, shooters on the Evercade. There just doesn't seem to be a point to this game, either. I don't know...
Alien Cat 2 is a pleasant surprise! We hadn't yet had a puzzle game on this collection, and what a fascinating one it is! It's not the most original concept, but its execution is phenomenal - easy-to-understand controls and mechanics, with good music too! It's great!
And Flea! is really something, too. The lives system in it is pretty unique! And the jumping mechanic is also something I haven't seen before. And just like Tapeworm Disco Puzzle, the art-style and music is awesome!
So yeah, overall an *amazing* collection. Probably my favorite one. I'm glad I left this one for last. Sure there were 2 games I didn't really like (and Debtor did have some things about it I did still like) - but that means there were 12 awesome games on it for only 20 bucks and it's such a good deal!
Now my expectations for Indie Heroes 2 are really high! :P
