You know, for all the shoot-'em-ups on Evercade, the ones here are *amazing*!
Cybattler and EDF play very differently so they don't feel just like re-hashed variations on a theme - they both have their own unique flow and style and I like them a lot! And, in my opinion, EDF here is a lot better than the console version so that's a plus as I liked that enought but I like this even more!
64th Street is okay! It is just silly in its presentation (at least to me) and the controls are simple to understand, and there isn't enemy spam from 360 degrees like Technos Arcade games did. So yeah, I didn't expect to like it that much, but it was an enjoyable experience!
And Avenging Spirit is such a unique concept! So many different characters you can choose to be based off of your preference. The music and graphics are great too! Such a fun first impression!
I'm loving this collection so far and I'm especially excited for the 2nd half! ;)
