I found out about the fan-made DMXOPL3 music maps for Doom, and I wanted to see how they sounded on a genuine OPL3 chip on a Sound Blaster 16. Join me for a dive into Doom's music, and listen to some comparison audio!
DMXOPL3 libraries are from https://github.com/sneakernets/DMXOPL.
Special thanks to Clint from LGR for permission to use his awesome General MIDI and Sound Canvas clips from his SC-55 video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rEMqLmqsLaQ)
