Trying out Terrordome: Reign of the Legends demo game on Kickstarter now
23So feedback I would give and I know it’s an early demo but not sure what improvements they are planning to do at this moment in time. So here is my two cents
Firstly I would say improve the hit sound effects and graphical effects, reminds me a lot of Omen of sorrow where blows really lack the sonic and visual impact. Animations in general feel a bit stiff and hoping they plan to make everything flow better. Hit detection and Cross up Auto corrects need work as well.
With the original Terrordrome I could not get my Xbox 360 fight pad to work but with this demo though I could, though it still has issues but that could be joypad and keyboard controls conflicting. Super moves could do with a bit more oomph in the graphics department. I know they plan to add more gameplay features but I would like to see perhaps a combo cancel mechanic, or perhaps each character has an Ability (perhaps like Instinct mode in killer instinct or V trigger in SFV)
On the whole though I did find it fun I plan to back it but it’s always hard to judge when you see a very early version how close to the final product it is. I think it has a sound base but I am hoping they can elevate it above the other Indie Fighting games.
