Trying Piko Interactive Arcade 1 (Part 1) [Evercade #163]

Ahh, Piko Interactive, the land of the weird and the unknown!
This cart is certainly full of the weird and the unknown, that's for sure. Aside from Burglar X (thanks to a Rerez video), I (and a lot of the peope in the Evercade community) hadn't heard of any of the games on this cart before!
Diver Boy is my favorite from this lot of 3. It's a single-screen platformer, just in a different form. It's fun, quirky, and easy to understand. My only gripe with it are the bosses; aside from the last boss I did, they are all way too hard to avoid taking damage on.
Dragon Master is a fighting game. I don't know what else I can say here that I didn't already say in the video regrding this/fighting games in general. We don't like each other, fighting games and I. It is nice of the manual, though, to provide us with all the special moves! :D
Steel Force is an odd one. I still don't quite know what to make of it. Somewhat similar to Alien Breed but not really, too much stuff going on on the screen makes it confusing to see what's in your path, bosses are hard but aren't too hard, there are a lot of thoughts swirling around inside my head. It definitely betrays your 'first impressions', that's for sure.
Overall, an interesting start to this cartridge. I'm glad we got 2/3 of the games that I wasn't that excited for already out of the way, too, so we can move on to more of the meat! :)
Games Played (with their Timestamps):
1. Diver Boy (2:07)
2. Dragon Master (22:46)
3. Steel Force (31:04)
