2Yes, I can do much better than 1:58 in a car at Oulton, but considering the kind of precision you get with a not exactly fresh G27 and the snappy button-based rider lean... I think for direct steering this is not too shabby.
Would be interesting to see what results moving on to VR and a high end wheel controller would yield (combined with the translation of the head mapped to the rider lean).
Yet another complication is that I'm using the 1:1 steering (the majority of bikes in GPB exhibit 25° steering lock, which makes it 50° in the profiler). As one could expect, that coupled with the small G27 rim doesn't exactly translate well into precision. However, this way I feel more like riding a bike rather than driving a car, so for me it's worth it at the end of the day.
