Was wondering if it was possible to do the second type for quite a while. Pity, it's not possible to land more in the "landing pad" on the bow thanks to the missile getting in the way of the main rotor.
Nevermind the anchor spool thingie, it's not physical anyway :P Still, it looks like doing it right next to the port side might prove feasible even if the ship suddenly gets an updated collision mesh. However, that makes for a VERY tight landing spot with close obstructions. At the moment I don't feel that confident :)
The first landing wasn't top-notch, but it also wasn't the point of the video anyway.
