Eric Diakité (TUNDA CYAT) was a net friend of mine that I sadly only knew briefly before his unexpected passing a couple years ago. Starting from a simple interaction on one of his many VGM uploads on youtube, he immediately got me joined up with his game music group and we tossed our favorite jams back and forth while discussing our ambitions to create our own developments as a love letter back to gaming (especially racers and futuristic themed ones). He was an incredible musician himself aligning with the mid to late 90's electronic dance styles that also had a firm establishment with the arcade games and consoles of that era. I also didn't know he was Infinite Quazar, an early vaporwave project I knew about prior to us talking. Because of Eric and others I met through him I took my devotion to gaming on another level and part of the reason I do what I do here. I wish I could've got to know him more but his drive to worldbuild energetic experiences for others to enjoy through any means possible will be a constant drive with me from here on out. RIP bud.
