Turbo Sega Saturn! Phaenon Xtreme! Mini Classics! Sonic R! Fighters Megamix! Sega Rally! Etc!
Things were unfortunately, to a degree, broken for Sega Saturn, as far as the "most optimal" way we could typically run it on several platforms. Our primary options were Yabause (too slow), Yabasanshiro (which is recommended to avoid by developers who have worked on it, themselves, due to non practical usage related to consistent regression breaks and also has graphical glitches and instabilities) on the Mini Classics since Glcore is mostly necessary to run it without glitches...which also makes it run too slow!, Kronos (too slow), Mednafen (Beetle) Saturn (also, too slow).
So, I did what I did with N64, previously, and broke a few things, fixed a few things, gained some performance and speed, in a new forked Core I retooled as Phaenon Xtreme. Obviously, the best way to run Saturn is either with Kronos or Beetle Saturn on a mid to high range setup...or, even the real hardware! But, for those of us on the PSC and Amiga 500 Mini, who are masochistic enough to want to play Sega Saturn...I did what I could to make it reasonably possible for us, considering our hardware spec limitations!
Enjoy the Video! Let me know if you wanna see any other games tested or in action!
Personal thanks to all who have worked on Saturn Emulators/Cores, Libretro, Spannernick who helped out immensely with PCUAE, MadFranko with RetroAami, DanTheMan827 and Madmonkey of the Hakchi2 CE Team, and so on:)
