Turn off Autoplay of Hard Drives and USB Drive in Windows XP to Prevent Getting Virus
Hello Friends
Today iam going to show you how to turn off autoplay in PC/Laptop to avoid getting virus on ur drives :)
so follow the steps with me...
first open "GPEDIT.MSC" from Run box...
Group Policy Software will open
1: now search Administrative Templates in Computer Configuration
Now Click on System in Right Side
Now at the end search "Turn off Autoplay"
by default it is set to "Not Configured"
so you have to click the "Enabled" button
now you can see it has written
Turn off autoplay on: All Drives or CD-ROM Drives
you have to select All Drives
now click on OK
2: Now Click on User Configuration
Now click on System on right side of window (Same method as Above I shown to u)
also search here "Turn off Autoplay"
Click Enabled and then click on "All Drives" at turn off autoplay.
