Turn old android 4.4 phone into a Droidpad Media player and personal enhancement device - Upcycle
Obsoletion is not a thing when eWaste is turned into gold by the hand of an angel. A Droidpad is really a pad that you can do anything that you want to do on. It’s like an ipad, but without the apple BS.
I can do a lot of things with this 2013 phone on so many different levels.
This phone comes with a huge amount of bloatware being the Verizon version and everything. I can root the phone and remove them, but the phone is not rooted at all. All the bloatware can be easily disabled, and now no more random notifications are shown. Disabling these bloatware also makes the phone run very smoothly.
What about security? What about it? The phone will not be connected to the internet at all. It’s used mainly offline, even though WIFI still works. Basic web browsing should still work using the old chrome 37 browser that comes with the phone. I can install a newer browser on it, but this is not going to be an internet device, so it’s okay as-is.
PS. I feed the AI with my script, and it generates a relatively good thumbnail for this video. Zero effort is paid on that.
