Turok: Rage Wars is an action video game developed by Bit Managers and published by Acclaim Entertainment for the Game Boy Color handheld console in 1999. Although the game is set in the same universe as its Nintendo 64 counterpart, it is a different game. The game received generally favorable reviews from critics. To progress through the game, the player must control Turok through four large worlds while battling enemies with multiple weapons.

GAME RECORDING INFO:

The game was emulated at Retroarch, using GAMBATTE core, with accurate color correction. It was integer scaled to 4k, without bi-linear filtering, and retaining the original aspect ratio (display aspect ratio, not internal resolution). And captured using shader / filter that simulates the image of the original screen. I also created a Gameboy Color image to use as a bezel above the game, to create a nostalgic atmosphere.
