Blizzard has officially filed a lawsuit against Turtle WoW — one of the most ambitious Classic+ private servers ever created. They’re accusing Turtle WoW of piracy, copyright infringement, and even racketeering… and they want to claim ownership of all the custom content the TWoW team has built over 7 years.
Maybe/probably Blizzard wins in court. Maybe Turtle WoW gets shut down tomorrow. But they can’t erase the community that rebuilt Azeroth when Blizzard abandoned it.
