Hello,

In this tutorial i go over in detail some of the more specific features to 2d fluids in maya. In the following 2 tutorials i will go over some of the basic shading properties, different types of fluid emissions and how they react with each other. I also show why properties are set to dynamic and what happens when theyre not.

This is just a general overview hoever as it will explain alot of the things crucial to going off on your own and creating your own fluids !
