Faster Firefox downloads by disabling virus scanning. The bigger the files, the more time it takes.

It´s not risky, as long as you have a working virus scanner installed. You may not notice but it also scans files after downloading and you don´t need to do that in Firefox also.

Except for if you like waiting and / or you didn´t know that you should turn it off.
