This brief tutorial explains how to get the Campfire + Frostfall Patch working on AN EXISTING SAVE FILE so the VISUAL FEEDBACK METERS (Cold, Wet, Weather) will properly display on the UI. This way, you don't have to start a new game!

These meters will not display correctly in Skyrim SE without this patch. The patch will only work, by default, on a new game. However, with these instructions you can get the patch working on an existing save game file, thus saving you the trouble of starting a whole new game.

If you don't care about getting this to work on an existing save, just install the patch and start a new game of Skyrim Special Edition, and the meters will display correctly after you enable Frostfall.
