TWEWY Final Remix: Shiki Day 3: Part 1: Synchronization
Another day has passed, and Neku found himself in a dark room. After a moment of trying to figure out his surroundings, Shiki... had managed to find him.
Yesterday, it would seem that Neku was pretty close to killing his own partner, but a flashback showed what happened beyond that.
That pink-haired Reaper girl almost tricked Neku into killing Shiki, but they were bailed out when another man confronted the girl about bending her Reaper privileges in the game. She was forced to scram.
The man's name is Sanae Hanekoma, or Mr. H, for short. Somehow or another, he's also a Player. Hanekoma gave Neku & Shiki a lot of helpful advice about playing the Reapers' Game, but the biggest advice was this: Trust your partner!
Neku was being pretty stubborn and aloof towards Shiki this far, but Mr. H need him to open up his feelings towards Shiki so they can have a better understanding of each other, which will help them out a lot with beating the Game. He also gave them a special pin.
----------
Back in to the present, Shiki suddenly dropped her phone. It showed a picture of her with another girl. Must be a friend...
The two teens finally get their mission for the day: "Defeat the master of A-East. You have 360 minutes. Fail, and face erasure. -The Reapers"
Man, it always stings their hands when they get their mission timer literally placed on them.
A-East is a concert stage. Shiki wanted to take Neku their so they can get their mission done, but then...
When they exited the dark building they started in... it turned out they were already at A-East. If only there was a way to turn on its lights... and find that master...
Nearby, they met a man with spiky hair. He was pissed because his band's tech was running late. He is 777, the vocalist of the band Def March. Shiki had to help him out, but Neku noticed something very off about being able to help him out to begin with...

From this point on, you can access shops. Players usually can't be seen, but decals in shops enable them to be seen by shopkeepers.
Do enough shopping, and their shopkeepers will be more friendly to you and reveal new items and abilities that their items provide.
----------
Another Reaper wall stood before Neku & Shiki, and they recalled what Mr. Hanekoma told them about the Reapers' Game.
The Reapers' Game is won by completing one mission for each day of the week. Anyone can do this, not just those two, but it's recommended that they at least try in order to get a good grade.
Reapers run the game and test the Players in it, which is why they'll sometimes get in their way. Wall Reapers are Support Reapers, and you just have to beat their task and they'll let you through. Meanwhile Harrier Reapers are Player hunters, and they HAVE to do this or else THEY'LL get erased, instead.
As friendly as Hanekoma was, he still felt pretty mysterious to Neku. How does he know all of this so well?
Lastly, the Shibuya they're all in now isn't the same one they've grown up in. This Shibuya is on a plane called the "UG" or "Underground", while the RG is the real Shibuya. They co-exist, but the UG Shibuya is ran by a person only known as The Composer...
Hanekoma's gift to Neku & Shiki was a blank pin, but it will only show its true form once they can be in perfect sync against the Noise. That what they'll use again the Wall Reaper's Noise!
----------
That special pin is for a Fusion psych, where Neku & Shiki unleash a super attack that hits all Noise on the screen.
The Fusion is charged by bringing its Sync Rate up to 100%, and that can be done with good Cross Combos.
When you unleash the Fusion, you have to match up the top-center of Shiki's ESP Cards with those of the same symbol (such as stars, circles, and plus signs), to boost the Fusion's damage output pin drop rate before time runs out.
You can practice this as many times as you want before defeating the Noise and clearing the wall that prompted this practice.
