Police are investigating whether a high-speed street race was the cause of the horrific crash that killed two children aged 9 and 10 in south Sydney on Friday night and are looking for a possible second car. Detective Inspector Jason Hogan of accident investigation unit said 33-year-old driver is believed to be uncle of two children who . The 9-year-old girl who survived the accident with minor injuries is believed to be her own daughter. While all four were traveling in Subaru WRX, the Subaru WRX crashed into a tree at the intersection of The Grand Parade and Culver Street in Monterey, near Brighton Le Sands, shortly before 10on Friday. Hogan said speed was a factor in the crash and confirmed that police are investigating whether it was street racing.
