Two LOST Arcade Games Found! Vertexer and Spriggan Powerd
SUPPORT THE CHANNEL : http://www.patreon.com/VideoGameEsoterica
I talk about about lost retro games and lost arcade games on the channel and when I can I help preserve retro games such as Castlevania: The Arcade and Akuma: Mortis Immortal...but did you know there is a lost Taito sprite scaler called Vertexer which just feels like Taito's version of F-Zero? It was a giant amusement arcade cabinet with a full motion cockpit that was location tested but never actually released...and I know of one collector who owns one and sadly will never dump it. But a second Vertexer board has appeared and there are real hardware captures now...along with a lost Spriggan game called "Spriggan Powerd" and yes the misspelling is apparently the real title!
Hopefully one day they will work in MAME! And if you need a MAME guide / MAME tutorial for that day...check the channel!
