Two Suspects Under Arrest In B15 Bus Attacks
The NYPD has arrested two suspects in connection to the recent attacks on B15 Bus Drivers
The first suspect was arrested on Thursday August 30th at the Halsey Street subway station
Thanks to an alert metrocard clerk at the station who recognized his pictures from the wanted posters the suspect was identified as
34-year-old Sherrod Jackson who has a long criminal record
Jackson was arrested for three previous unrelated crimes including stealing a mans wallet unlawful possession of a gravity knife and numerous arrests for selling illegal metrocard swipes
In one of the attacks Jackson is accused of throwing an object, possibly a pepper spray canister, at a B15 bus at Marcus Garvey Boulevard and Fulton Street around 1:40 p.m on
Monday August 27th
Another suspect linked to these attacks was arrested on Friday August 31th 46 year old Andre Chandler is accused of spraying an unknown subsistence at a bus driver and a passenger
Both suspects arrested in the attacks are facing felony charges of a 5 year prison term and or a fine of $250,000
