TYPHOON - 128K (ZX SPECTRUM - FULL GAME)
6Zeus presents Typhoon (un-emulated) for the zx spectrum, a true classic from the golden era of spectrum gaming which should not be forgotten alongside the software house and all programmers that were involved in making this game.
Year of release: 1988
Cracking shmup from those great chaps at Ocean / Imagine software house, great 128k title music, great sound fx, nicely drawn graphics, different views, different level layouts and colours, a tower, bosses and an end screen to boot, this really is an enjoyable conversion to play, sadly i only seemed to be rewarded with the bomb power up,...god knows where the other are :-/
Give it a go and you'll see how much variety this game has,...shame it doesn't have more or longer levels as i really did enjoy this shooter.
I have used the invincibility poke so i could upload the entire game for your viewing pleasure.
