I wanted to do a little test with maximum settings. This is 1080p60fps video (you need Chrome for 60fps playback on youtube) of Black Ops 2, 60Mbps mp4 encode. Black Ops is ideal because it has a lot of motion.

Captured with a U3 ExtremeCap device (AverMedia) which HAS HAD THE FIRMWARE UPDATED. I was about to return this damn thing when I found out the firmware was out of date. Works MUCH better now. If you're having problems, Update the firmware from the AverMedia page. Also know that this capture device is not fully compatible with all USB 3.0 chipsets.

Even post firmware update I was encountering some little stutters etc but that was when I was using an external usb3.0 hard drive. Couldn't quite keep up. So for flawless 1080p60fps capture with this device, record to the internal HD of your computer. That way there are no buffer problems between the U3 and your USB 3.0 external hard drive.
