Ubisoft claims that putting microtransactions in single player games like Assassin's Creed Shadows makes them "more fun" to play
They argue it's because players can "progress more quickly" if they pay for boosters. Ubisoft's CEO fought back against Stop Killing Games, claiming all live service games have to end eventually
