I get this message after login in Ubuntu 16.04 :
'Failure to download extra data files ttf-mscorefonts-installer'

The problem caused by, ttf-mscorefonts not already installed in your ubuntu, so you must install that font with the following script :

$ sudo wget http://httpredir.debian.org/debian/pool/contrib/m/msttcorefonts/ttf-mscorefonts-installer_3.6_all.deb
$ sudo dpkg -i ttf-mscorefonts-installer_3.6_all.deb

restart your ubuntu.
