Ubuntu Unity is a Linux distribution based on Ubuntu, using the Unity interface in place of the GNOME Shell used by Ubuntu.
The first initial release was version 20.04 LTS – Focal Fossa on May 7, 2020. Prior to the initial release, it had two provisional names: Unubuntu and Ubuntu Unity Remix.
Now the Ubuntu Unity team has released version 22.04 LTS of their distribution.

On April 21, it was the day the Jammy Jellyfish family had to arrive, and it's happening.
Although there are still several flavors to publish your release notes, they can all be downloaded in cdimage.ubuntu.com.
What cannot be downloaded from there are the "Remixes", that is, the flavors of Ubuntu that currently intend to become official, but are not.
The first of them to announce its release was Ubuntu Unity 22.04, developed by young Canonical member Rudra Saraswat.
Saraswat is also responsible for other software for Ubuntu, such as Ubuntu Web or Gamebuntu, so it is expected to make another announcement today or over the weekend.
Anyway, the first thing that was announced is Ubuntu Unity 22.04, which I would highlight that included support for flatpak packages and the standard Flathub repository.
The release notes for this release do not include many details, so no time to download and test the ISO, we can not check some details.
That said, here's what's new with Ubuntu Unity:
Supported until... it does not say, but is expected to be supported for at least two years until Ubuntu 24.04 is released. The normal would be three years, until April 2025.
Firefox as snap by default, a forced move since the "DEB" version will not be included in any official repository.
The following standard application replacements are made to make them better in the Unity interface: The Lectern document viewer; The plume text editor; VLC video player; The EOM image viewer; The system monitor by MATE System Monitor;
ISO no longer snares bios and UEFI, so the same ISO can be used in both cases.
