Hello and welcome to Lord Fenton Gaming plays Ultima II The Revenge of the Enchantress. I am your host Lord Fenton In this first part of Ultima 2 The Revenge of the Enchantress walkthrough let's play video, I will show you all how to create your character and start out in Ultima II. Ultima 2 was released in August of 1982. This is the original version. I will show you all how to get a ship in this video. So let's start out our adventure to stop the evil Minax to enact her revenge on Earth. As always like, comment and subscribe to my channel for more classic gaming videos like this.

Note: I am playing the original MS-DOS version of the game and no patches with it except by the developers during the time frame of it's release. Enjoy the video.

Yes you start out with the bare minimum - 4:23

Note: Thanks to Minax screwing up the timeline on Earth and more you start out with only 400 food, 400 gold and 400 hp. The food goes down a few steps so get to the two spots ASAP.

Note: Gear up depending on what your stats are and make sure you have over 100gp for two sets of food. In this case I did Bow & Arrow and Leather Armor.

Note: You can get spells in this video however this playthrough I am avoiding the dungeons since I found the best way to get some items in the next video. If your going explore dungeons in this game get spells in this village or the previous town in the video.

Note: Your Intelligence and Charisma plays a huge role on how much you get a discount in. If you start out with 40 total you get a decent discount. If you hit 86 to 159 you get the best discount. Let me warn you about hitting 160 and above on the two stats combine you get ripped off. Yes that is right you will be paying for more. I will show in the next video how to raise those stats.

Time to leave 1423 BC to get to 1990 AD - 10:30

Into the castle for HP increase - 11:49
Hit T key to Talk to Lord British if you have 50gp - 12:18

Note: Here how hit point increase works. When you talk to Lord British you lose 50gp HOWEVER you get 300 hit points. This will drop down to 200 hit points after your total hit points is above 5,000. After going over 7,500 hit points it will be 100 hit points per giving up 50gp by speaking to Lord British. One important note, DO NOT I repeat DO NOT go over 9,999 hit points. If you do it resets to zero and you will die.

Note: The item you seek is called a Blue Tassles. Those items will grand you access to a ship. On Ships Food does not go down thus making grinding in the sea vs land much easier. Thieves drops Blue Tassles upon you killing them sometimes. This video will show you this.

Note: Ships DOES NOT I repeat DOES NOT goes through time gates. There are none in the seas. So each era you got to repeat the process one way or another.
