One of Repo Monkey's softball players and a fan sitting behind me in the stands in back of home plate at Wayne, Michigan's Anderson Fields were chattering back and forth with each other. The fan felt Repo Monkey should be playing better, while the Repo dude says the fan should just go grab a beer and a hot dog.
Home plate umpire Chico is not one that likes listening to a bunch of chatter between players, coaches, fans, or anyone else during a game. He tells the fan he has a game to run and tells the fan and the Repo Monkey player to zip it or else he would toss them both out of the game between Repo Monkey and Aftermath, 9/7/13..
Chico is a take charge umpire. He doesnt put up with any bullcrap from anyone. Other umpires I know, like Dave, Larry, Billy, and Bob Hope, may have let these two guys shout insults at one another the whole game. But not Chico. He lets every player, coach, and fan know who's in control during a game.
