Unboxing: First 4 Figures Pac-Man PVC (Exclusive Edition)
I LOVE Pac-Man. For me, this wonderful character is on the Mount Rushmore of video game greats, alongside Mario and select few others. I also love First 4 Figures and at this point have 14 of their pieces.
As I stress in this video, I also appreciate how First 4 has been a leader, along with companies like Limited Run, in offering items that feel like a million bucks but no longer require breaking the bank like the old Polystone or PVC statues of yore. Everybody can now get in on the fun of what looks and feels like a luxurious games art piece.
This is a notable development in accessibility in the high-end games collectibles space and moved me to make this video in thanks and celebration.
I particularly love this depiction of Pac-Man in true arcade mode, on a stand with a mark of "Ready!" and a nice layout of the game board. There is also an infinity mirror behind him that truly shines when you turn the lights on. A magical glow seems to go on forever in the distance, simulating Pac-Man's trail as he chases after dots and ghosts. The base easily plugs in with a USB-C cable and you also get a First 4 card for 500 rewards points.
This statue is a huge winner with me and I hope you consider adding it to your collection and that it excites you, along with recent posts, to play some Pac-Man. If you want a good starting place beyond the original or Ms. Pac-Man, I strongly recommend Pac-Man Championship Edition DX+
Great job again First 4 and hooray for Pac-Man and top-notch, accessible collectibles.
