Unboxing My Childhood Video Game Collection - BOX 3 ๐น๏ธ๐ฎ๐พ (The Pirate Box ๐ดโโ ๏ธ)
Join me on a great video game nostalgia journey! ๐ฅ\nWelcome to a new mini video game series! ๐น๏ธ\nI used to collect video games and consoles when I was younger. I started during the era of the Commodore 64 / Atari 2600 and stopped collecting just after the PS2 was released (I never really got into 3D graphic aspect all that much!) ๐พ\nMy collection has been sitting in boxes for at least 12 years, some of them even longer! I have been travelling the world a fair amount and my lifestyle doesn't suit collecting and owning possessions anymore.\nI decided to sell everything, but before I do, I figured I would take a look at what I have, as I honestly have no idea anymore! ๐คท๐\nEach video in this series will be unboxing a new box each time! I think I have around 12-14 boxes in total!\n\nLeave a comment if you:\n- Have any memories of any of the games/consoles (No matter how stupid it sounds โ)\n- What you think the BEST ๐ and WORST ๐ things from each box are\n- What you think the most valuable ๐ฐ things from each box are\n\nJoin me on a journey of nostalgia!\n\n---\n\nI bought most of these consoles and games when nobody cared about them anymore. I would go to: car boot sales, charity shops and thrift stores. People would sell their consoles (with games) for ยฃ1-ยฃ5. Maybe you find it hard to believe, but it's happening right now (Just with Nintendo Wii's and PS1's at the moment)... Soon these will be valuable and you later wish you should have bought them all. Well, I did, and that was well over 25 years ago... and here we are today! Unboxing the past! That same past which nobody cared about at the time!\n\nI didn't buy many new things. I got a few consoles as Christmas presents and maybe the odd game here and there, but 99.9% was bought used from various places! So while I don't own things that have always been rare, some things have become rare over time.\n\n---\n\nI know I at least have these somewhere:\nC64, Sega Mega Drive 1, Sega Mega Drive 2, Sega Genesis, Sega Mega CD 1, Sega Mega CD 2, Sega CD, Dreamcast, N64, Gamecube, PS1, Atari 2600, Spectrum, Sega Saturn, Game Boy, Game Gear, Nintendo DS, Barcode Battler, PS2, XBox 360, XBox Classic, C128, 086 (PC), Roxor BoXor, Konami 573 Digital, Sega Master System 1, Sega Master System 2\n\n#Retro #VideoGames #VideoGameCollection\n
