2Hello everyone and welcome to my gameplay of Unboxing the Cryptic Killer, a co-op puzzle game where you have to work together with another player to solve a mysterious case and escape from a deadly trap. I’m playing as Detective Ally Abernathy and my partner is playing as Detective Steve Kowalski. We are trying to catch a serial killer who has sent us a cryptic box full of clues and challenges. We have to communicate effectively, share information, and crack the codes to outsmart the killer and find out his identity.
The game is divided into different locations, each with its own puzzles and secrets. We can see different items and clues on our screens, so we have to talk to each other and cooperate to solve them. We can also draw on anything in the game, like walls, items, or even our own screens, to help us with the puzzles. Sometimes we also have to interact with NPCs who are trapped inside the box and gain their trust.
The game also has some retro mini-games that test our skills and teamwork. For example, in one location we have to play a platformer game where one of us controls the character and the other one controls the obstacles. We have to coordinate our actions and avoid getting killed by the killer’s traps.
The game has a very cool art style, with hand-drawn graphics that look like comic books. The game also has a dark and suspenseful atmosphere that keeps us on edge. The puzzles are very challenging and creative, and require us to think outside the box. The game is very fun and engaging, especially if you like mystery thrillers and escape rooms.
