Unbroken Spirit v43.3 Math Update - It's not broken!!
66TLDR:
- 30AD is 14.4% extra ability damage mitigation for a total of 37.5%, reducing ability damage by more than a third
- All heroes will have the base health to profit HP from a quarter of all hard CC (down from half)
- 2682 is the average health needed to mitigate the damage from hard CC
- Casters/assassins ~1700 HP can stand to mitigate a large portion of hard CC's damage
- Brawler/bruisers ~2300 health will mitigate the damage from average hard CC
- Tanks ~3100+ HP will profit overall from hard CC and be able to mitigate a modest portion of another ability or basic attack
- Unbroken Spirit provides anybody the opportunity to at least mitigate a large portion of the damage from hard CC, meaning brawlers and especially tanks can get tremendous value
- Unbroken Spirit could be a fantastic optional card in any growth deck for any hero if the enemy team has lots of hard CC or burst damage
- If one needs to lessen the impact of hard crowd control and ability based burst damage, Unbroken Spirit is an effective card to do so
