Day 1: The real test of controller aiming has come. This game really brought the frustration out in me, but let's take it as a chance to improve in that regard (ehm, currently going into Lost Legacy and I'm not sure I've improved anything :D). In this stream we go through chapters 1-14 in the game that have us shooting tons of enemies, confronting frustration, solving some puzzles, crashing on an airplane, shooting cars and ATV's with a grenade launcher from a mounted weapon in a car pursuit, driving around with jet skis, shooting a lot more enemies, checking some nice cut scenes, over all some good shit! Next upload will start with Chapter 15 (there's a total of 22 chapters in the game).
Notes: Uncharted 1, even if a bit dated now was still a great experience. Loved the lighthearted humor and overthetop excessive action scenes as well as the great voice acting and soundtrack. These games in the series are also very family friendly, which can be a good thing, but personally I miss the brutality of Last of Us games. Ideally I would like to see some options for that in these kind of adventure games. That's just my opinion. There were some things I would've really wanted to see for the remastered Nathan Drake collection however: like having the ability to disable that annoying auto-aim twitch that seems to be apparent even on Crushing difficulty and the ability to disable depth of field. Also improving ammo pickup/weapon change mechanics would've been welcome (think tap triangle to pick up nearby ammo and hold triangle to swap to a different weapon). I think I'm not mad enough to try to beat the game on the NDC version's exclusive Brutal difficulty (unlocked only by beating the game on Crushing), cause just with Crushing I had some very frustrating moments in the game, especially the ending where we died... A lot :D Not very proud of myself there (I mean the behavior here) but hey, after all we pulled it through and got the satisfaction of completing the game! Overall the games in the series are quite short, easily played through in 2-4 sessions (4th one was a bit longer and haven't played Lost Legacy yet, 4th one was also... well we'll come back to that later..), but they are definitely worth the play if you own a Playstation.
Next up after Uncharted 1: Uncharted 2 (Crushing difficulty), Uncharted 3 (Crushing difficulty), Uncharted 4 (Crushing difficulty), Uncharted Lost Legacy (Crushing difficulty), Witcher 3 (Death March difficulty + enemy upscaling on)
