Day 2: More action, some puzzle solving and finally getting to the part where you started the game. We ultimately get saved by some locals in
the mountains, then go to do some mountaineering and battle weird creatures and when going back the whole village is besieged and we even have to destroy a tank during the fight! After that Elena is showing off her driving skills once more :3
Notes: mostly copy paste from UC1 notes, other than that the game looks better and personally I found it funnier than the 1st game and it was considerably easier. Having played UC 1-4 now completely I can say the 2nd game was the easiest of them on Crushing based on the number of times I died. Loved the lighthearted humor and overthetop excessive action scenes as well as the great voice acting and soundtrack. These games in the series are also very family friendly, which can be a good thing, but personally I miss the brutality of Last of Us games. Ideally I would like to see some options for that in these kind of adventure games. That's just my opinion. There were some things I would've really wanted to see for the remastered Nathan Drake collection however: like having the ability to disable that annoying auto-aim twitch that seems to be apparent even on Crushing difficulty and the ability to disable depth of field. Also improving ammo pickup/weapon change mechanics would've been welcome (think tap triangle to pick up nearby ammo and hold triangle to swap to a different weapon). I think I'm not mad enough to try to beat the game on the NDC version's exclusive Brutal difficulty (unlocked only by beating the game on Crushing), cause just with Crushing I had some very frustrating moments in the game, especially the ending where we died... A lot :D But hey, after all we pulled it through and got the satisfaction of completing the game! Overall the games in the series are quite short, easily played through in 2-4 sessions, but they are definitely worth the play if you own a Playstation.
Next up after Uncharted 2: Uncharted 3 (Crushing difficulty), Uncharted 4 (Crushing difficulty), Uncharted Lost Legacy (Crushing difficulty), Witcher 3 (Death March difficulty + enemy upscaling on)
