A solo play through using the CUCU strategy type (Cripple UK Collapse USSR). Last episode saw the USA 5th Army hold off the Axis assaults, Gibraltar held so the UK Canadians and US 5th seem to be holding onto Gibraltar and FNA, the 8th army has retaken Cairo and The B.E.F. has landed in Suez, The US 1st Army is poised for an invasion of Norway, the Soviets are on the Horizon of returning to the war. Things are looking to become a crisis for the Axis at the end of 1943. Dec. saw the recapture of Alexandria but a German Armor stands on the road to Tobruk. The West has a secure foot hold in FNA and Mid-East. The Soviets eliminated a German Inf near Kharkov, and pushed the Axis line near Rostov and in the north around Velikiye. Severe weather has slowed the Soviet winter offensive. The Axis have recovered some in SW but have lost the delay game in the Middle east. However it is May 44 and the West is not in a good position to invade France or Norway. Can the Axis hold out to the last turn? The Weather so far has helped.
As a side note I think I miss-played the Axis side on this go around, this is the best response as the allies I have ever had vs this strategy line.
