Hello, fellow OutsiderSMP enjoyers and perhaps non-OutsiderSMP enjoyers. This is my outsider's animation that I have been working on for the past month or so! I should be back to mostly more regularly (by that I mean shorter animatics and projects for now so a subscription would be appreciated if you want more silly goofy things and less killing. Maybe that too. Now let’s properly get into the description, shall we?

The OutsidersSMP although over is a SMP that I didn’t think I would be much interested in because it was a smp that was on the darker side, I was a bit scared that we were gonna get another smp that never really finished its story. However to my surprise that wasn’t the case here. Throughout the animatic, I try to put the most plot-driven events in though a bunch of things was left out such as the dinner or Oeca’s breakdown (or I guess literally threatening), several DEATHS, Beks and magic’s abandoning of their clearing (though this was hinted at), etc.

This was mainly because I watched through Owen’s pov and I managed to capture more of his storyline. Though I need to include a bit of Mohwee/Oeca, bek, magic, and apo specifically. It was quite difficult to summarize a year's smp into a 3-minute animatic.

Though here's what’s actually in the animatic, I start off with the arrival scenes with everyone who was in the first clearing, starting off with Owen and Rasbi. Then we go in order, though unfortunately, this means that I couldn’t get those who arrived earlier or like Guts who came events after. Mohwee takes a lot of attention during this song's first verse since his disappearance and Squidney’s in the first half are essential.

Along with the trial where it's revealed Mohwee is still alive, and then with pulling of the first lever. I also adjust the timeline a little with having the elections in between the levers being pulled as a little bit of a breather. The second clearing is gone and we see the reactions of the survivors and those who went to pull the lever. After, we cut to the discovery of the clearing, Krow, and El leaving with the members of clearing one.

Around here we start getting to the memories brought back, with Bek and her show and Apo’s death during the reunion. Owens' killing spree begins and we are brought to Magic’s pov and her experience leaving the maze with the remaining survivors after those who got left behind (I unfortunately couldn’t show much of the meltdown either). It ends with how Magics' pov ends, which is uncertain and undetermined but I like that conclusion more.

Once again there was a lot of stuff I had to leave out if I wanted to animatic and not turn too messy, tried to include most major events. I really appreciate all the work that went into the SMP regardless though, by far one of the most cohesive SMPS I have seen. Looking forward to what Legs brings to the table once it gets revealed who's on it and the theme.
