9They say Undertale is a masterpiece. That it's exciting. That it leaves a mark.
And yet, here I am. Level 1. Pacifist route. Following each step with respect, listening to every dialogue, facing puzzles, enemies, decisions...
But something doesn't quite fit.
In the previous chapter, we faced Muffet, talked to Bratty and Catty, Mettaton returned to his show, and in the end... Sans appeared. An intimate moment, perhaps.
And yet, I don't feel it the way others do. Is it me? Is it the game? Is it that sometimes you can't force an emotion?
