The first game to kick off my "Undomesticated Games" series. Released only in Japan for the Super Famicom (SNES), the game borrows heavily from A Link to the Past, both graphically and mechanically. It was also Eiji Aonuma's directorial debut, with this title prompting Shigeru Miyamoto to ask him: "If you really want to make a Zelda game that bad, why don't you just actually make a Zelda game?" Aonuma would then go on to direct Ocarina of Time. The rest, as they say, is history. Need I say more?
