0In this mission of Terminator Dark Fate: Defiance Uprising, I decided not to just let the enemy retreat. Instead, I chased them down with my helicopter, targeting the mercenary forces as they pulled back.
To my surprise, one squad stopped retreating and manned an anti-aircraft gun, opening fire on my chopper! I had to quickly retreat and reposition to safety. When I checked back a few seconds later, the gun was already abandoned as the mercs had continued their retreat.
It’s small moments like this that show how much detail the developers put into the game. Watching enemies adapt — then abandon positions when the mission logic pushes them — makes the world feel alive. Truly awesome design!
