We seem to have landed in the world of fairytales, and not exactly the cosy kind. It's as if we have ended up in a trial of sorts, where I have to survive and solve a melodic riddle before I am eaten alive by something much larger.

Later on, we navigate through underground mining tunnels, and fiery, glowing spots on the cave walls eerily remind us that we should be wary of the unknown ...

Unforgiving: A Northern Hymn (full game version) is a game which combines the beautifully scenic nature of Sweden along with its feared folklore. Even if they were often intended for children, this experience goes to show how terrifying they could really be!
