The Unity debacle continues with an official backtracking response from Unity but with no movement on key points. A lot of empty words with no real concessions.

The retroactive change to Unity's pricing structure remains on track leaving thousands upon thosands of game developers to twist in the wind or potentially begin migrating over to a new game engine less they get hit with charges.

It remains to be seen what comes in the next few days but my guess is it'll likely be a partial reversal that will still be resoundingly hated.

The trust for game developers with this engine in an ecosystem that desperately needs this trust is broken.
