"Unnamed 7" by Etzer {All Coins} | Geometry Dash 2.11
This is Etzer's last level, which released about two and a half years ago. I'm not sure why I didn't upload it back then, but it's nice to look back at it now. I'd say many of these parts still hold up today effect-wise. I particularly like the part at 0:30, but it could definitely have used some more air decoration or some background to go along with the effect inside the structures. The part right before that at 0:15 looks a bit weird in my opinion, although it's a unique concept. One thing all the parts have in common is awkward gameplay, which is probably why it didn't get an Epic rating. This Wave part is really weird to play at first, and all the teleporting at 0:37 isn't very enjoyable. Still, this is a cool effect level overall by Etzer. It seems like this may just be his last level ever, but if he does come back to make one more one day, I'll certainly be playing it.
- OVERALL COIN RATING -
Silver. 2/4. For an early 2.1 level, you could say the coins are quite good, but as I've said before, I judge the coins by the standards right now. The first two are a bit too easy and have very little complexity, while the third one still holds up really well.
- 1st coin: Bronze. The first coin is found at 0:05. Visually, the question mark looks quite cool, but the coin is just far too easy. All you have to do is click 2 times, and you even get 2 blocks space to do it (while most coins like these only give you 1). This coin should have been a collectible instead that unlocks a coin later on. As it is now, it has far too little to it and requires no extra skill, so it cannot get anything else than a Bronze rating despite its cool visuals.
- 2nd coin: Bronze. The second coin is quite similar to the first in quality, but it's the opposite. It's a bit tricky to get the timing down, so it can prove hard to do. However, the coin is completely visible and not any cool visually. It can be seen at 0:39. You have to jump right as the teleport happens, which takes a bit of practice. Still, though, it's far too little, just like the first coin. One single jump can't warrant a Silver rating.
- 3rd coin: Gold. This coin is by far the best. It's really nicely integrated with the part at 0:47. You can see some of the upper structures glitch a bit, which is a really cool hint. You can fly through this part and enable the trigger orb and get the mini coin. This enables the rest of the path. It can be a bit tricky to fly up and down without hitting any obstacles and die. At 0:51, you get the coin. This is both difficult to find and get, while having a really cool hint and being nicely included next to the normal route.
