Overall UD tips:
-Recommended you can beat the game on Normal or Hard without much of a problem at all.
-Save often.
-Don't save with low health.
-Don't save if you passed a part using way too much precious ammunition on one or two little monsters because you missed so much, load and try again.
-Check every dark nook and cranny for items, equips and ammo etc.
-Turn out the lights in your room at night to intensify the atmosphere.
-Have a blast!
-Golden Rule: Hit and don't get hit!

Level-specific tips:
-At the very start, take extra caution. There are some very annoying possible spawns here.
-Watch out for the Devil Fish in the underwater passage. (1:07).
-After the water passage, keep your ears and eyes open for a flyer.. they can sneak up on you pretty good sometimes.
-There is usually a very sneaky and pre-emptively stingy tentacle just beyond the secret switch door. Secret is at 1:45.
