Overall UD tips:
-Recommended you can beat the game on Normal or Hard without much of a problem at all.
-Save often.
-Don't save with low health.
-Don't save if you passed a part using way too much precious ammunition on one or two little monsters because you missed so much, load and try again.
-Check every dark nook and cranny for items, equips and ammo etc.
-Turn out the lights in your room at night to intensify the atmosphere.
-Have a blast!
-Golden Rule: Hit and don't get hit!
Level-specific tips:
-Grab the secret ASMD under the very first elevator platform.
-Take out the brute from a distance before getting on the first mine cart, to keep safe.
-Shoot the box once (1:02) at the right angle and use it as a step. (If it already isn't down, sometimes it is).
-There is a little lip on the second mine cart, may prove highly useful as a defensive if you can jimmy into the right positions while it moves. One mistake and a rocket will send you flying backwards, though. This brute is almost impossible to kill without getting hit.
-Greater Brute has a lot of health, just be careful (2:05).
-Double tap jump (long jump) to get that last Shield Belt (4:28).
