In this episode I show you how to create a more advanced minimap for your game. Part 2 shows you how to add the playericon to the minimap and have it follow the rotation of the player in the world.

This type of minimap is the preferred method as it has minimal impact on performance; unlike the basic version I have shown previously. In the next part we will be adding enemy markers and static points of interests like quest objectives.
